Objectives

1. Determine which elements of a CBC are clinically useful and which are obsolete
2. Analyze trends in anemia to help distinguish between common causes of anemia (iron deficiency, hemoglobinopathies, anemia of chronic disease)
3. Treat iron deficiency anemia
