Dr Suzanne Morin graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Université Laval de Québec and did her Internal Medicine specialty training at McGill University where she is now Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine. She obtained her Master’s in epidemiology and biostatistics from McGill University. She is the Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the MUHC.
Dr Morin’s research interests include health-related outcomes of osteoporosis, particularly following hip fractures and, long-term safety of osteoporosis treatments. She is chercheur-clinicienne boursier des Fonds de Recherche du Québec en Santé and is a Canadian Multicentre Osteoporosis Study investigator. She receives funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and other agencies. She is Past Chair of the Scientific Advisory Council of Osteoporosis Canada.
